#DINERENBLANC Diner en blanc Pittsburgh was so fun!

It has been a bucket list item for me. This year, I finally got an invite. (its invite only or you can wait on a wait list) Not Familiar with it? It is a worldwide event started in Paris. It now travels the world to major cities. People have a meal all dressed in white! It can't be off white or cream!! The rules are very stringent. Every city seems to make their own variation but you can bring your own food, or buy their food. It has to be 3 courses with an appetizer main meal and dessert. Im linking all the supplies you may need for this event below.
You are required to bring a white table, white chairs, white table cloth, white linen and white plates. You are required to bring glasses (not plastic) which makes it interesting getting there.
There are many start points around the city. You are given a start point when you register. You are unaware of where the venue will be until right before it begins. Then, you and your dinner party walk to the venue hauling all your things. It sounds cumbersome but with the items I listed, it makes it feasible. We took a collapsable wagon and covered it with a white sheet. Once you get there, the group leader will tell you what order to set your tables in. Then, everyone sets up their white display. Oh, I almost forgot, you do need a centerpiece. Most cities offer a nice gift card prize for the best center piece. Also, the best dressed gets a nice prize.
This year the venue was outside the Rivers casino. We had perfect weather! They had an amazing dj, cookie table, and people twirling fire and other entertainers. It was fun to go look at the other displays and see the outfits. I took away some pointers for next year and can't wait to go back!
